After stepping away from Spartan races and structured fitness during the pandemic, Todd and Melinda Wolfe decided to begin again. What started with a 2022 half marathon in Las Vegas became a journey across some of the world’s greatest races—and an opportunity to turn every mile into meaningful support for others.
Since returning to racing in 2022, Todd and Melinda have raised more than $25,000 for charitable organizations, with much of that support benefiting children and families facing difficult circumstances.

Fitness, marriage, resilience, and service became connected one training run at a time.
Todd and Melinda’s running journey did not begin with a plan to complete the world’s greatest marathons. It began with a decision to get moving again after the pandemic interrupted the active lifestyle they had previously shared through Spartan racing and fitness.
The 2022 Rock ’n’ Roll Las Vegas Half Marathon gave them a reason to train and begin again. The Honolulu Marathon later that year showed them how far that renewed commitment could take them.
What began as a return to fitness gradually became something more meaningful: a shared mission to use difficult endurance challenges to raise money, support important causes, and encourage others to believe that it is never too late to begin a new chapter.

Rock ’n’ Roll Las Vegas Half Marathon
After stepping away from Spartan races and structured fitness during the pandemic, Todd and Melinda returned to racing by completing the Rock ’n’ Roll Las Vegas Half Marathon. It was their opportunity to begin again together.
Later that same year, Todd and Melinda took the next step by training for their first full marathon. Completing Honolulu proved that 26.2 miles was possible and launched the marathon journey that followed.
Todd and Melinda used the Chicago Marathon to raise money for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, turning endurance into a platform for charitable impact.
